The BURKHARD GROUP in Kaufbeuren continues to train young people, even in challenging times. In September 2020, Janine Bleil and Patricia Reuter began their apprenticeships as Industrial Business Management Assistants. In addition to commercial professions, we also provide technical-vocational training, for example, as Industrial Electricians for Operational Technology or as Metal Technology Specialists.
Apprenticeships Despite Corona: A Clear Commitment
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to hire two apprentices for the Industrial Business Management Assistant profession again in 2020. For us, qualified young talent is not a matter of economic cycles, but the foundation for our company’s future. Since 1995, we have been soldering, annealing, and welding in Kaufbeuren with passion and tradition. To ensure this continues, we pass our knowledge on to the next generation.
The First Day of Work: Breakfast Instead of Forms
We are delighted to welcome Janine Bleil and Patricia Reuter on their first day of work. Traditionally, this day begins with a joint apprentice breakfast. This allows the new hires to get to know their colleagues, trainers, and management in a relaxed atmosphere before the daily work routine begins.

Well-Supported from the Start
Our apprentices are mentored by experienced trainers from various departments, including office administration, welding production, and maintenance. Management, represented by Jürgen Burkhard and Christian Reichert, is personally present at the start of the apprenticeship. Those who start with us have dedicated contacts, direct communication channels, and insight into the entire company.
